Spec shares, especially cheap ones, are at the mercy of bot traders using algorithms that would make your hair curl. I had a share once - Empire Oil and Gas - that went from the 1.3c a share I paid for them all the way up to 4.2c on the back of bot trading...and then it went down again just as quickly.

Things like profit earnings ratios and cash flow doesn't really apply to a spec share in reality because of this fact. Just be aware of that :)

I know. This one was more of a gut choice across a larger portfolio of speculatives and long term income/growth stocks. Just interested to see how it pans out.

Continuing with the book about Australian history which I'm reading, I've just gone through a passage about bushrangers. Perhaps I shouldn't find them that interesting, but I do... westerns being one of my favourite film genres and more generally I have a thing for outlaws histories - not that I actually like what they did, obviously, I guess I just like reading/watching stuff about people who lived on the edge, and on the margins of society. I've read about Billy the Kid in the past and Brazil's greatest outlaw, Lampião. Will see if I can find any stuff on the famous bushrangers as well.

Doing some maintenance on my pool and needed a new pump and Salt Chlorinator so I bought them online from the same place last Wednesday. I went to track my order today and found that one is coming from NSW via Sunshine in Vic and the other is at Netley.

Bloody useless Aussie Post.

So in doing my accounting corporate analysis assignment I thought I would take it to the next level and invest some cash into a speculative stock. I found a startup company last night had a look at their financials and what they are about and bought 10500 shares (they are super cheap).

Up 15% this morning. I'm scared.

I had a mining rep once accost me at the pub during karaoke, she was trying to sell up shares for like, 5 cents. I threw a 50c at her and said I'll take 10. Was a bit rude. She was shy but so when she wanted to sing I sang with her (****ing Shania Twain), I told her that would be another 100 shares owed.

Anyway, 4 or 5 years later they're quite profitable, and I never got my shares for my services!

Ned Kelly is an interesting one, whilst he undoubtedly did some bad shit, there's a grey area where perhaps he wasn't all bad... I buy in to it anyway. Look him up.

Steer clear of the movies though.

My mum bought 100,000 shares in ramelius at 10 cents, they rose to $2.10 and she forgot she had them.

They are now worth 18 cents.

The Story of the Kelly Gang (1906) - World's 1st Feature-Length Movie

You probably won't get any satisfaction from this 1970 version

Its the bit where the shares are at zero; I'm into more conservative investments, like Port trackpants.

Port trackpants are the new realestate.

Mick Jagger's voice and acting ability are on a par... shithouse

I quite enjoyed the movie that had Ned played by Heath Ledger.

Fallout 4 is so laggy what the **** suddenly my computer goes from being able to run games on medium settings at 1080p to stuttering out at lowest settings 720p (which is some Neanderthal resolution)

It's no better on PS4. Only 7 years until the PS5 tho
Appears to be ok on the xbone*

By the way, late posting and all, big w had Fallout 4 for $69. And ebgames price matched.

*I'm not playing it just watching/listening
