People that write or say "somebody call a waambulance" I seriously want to put in an ambulance.

Well.

Looks like you need a waambulance.

How much is a decent phase IV going for these days?

A phase 4? Well considering there are probably only one or two left out of 3 and a half made, and Ford have always denied their existence...priceless?

On cars, my mate who has far too much money as a result of administering flu jabs and telling old people they have kidney stones, is buying a brand new chevy silverado.

140k of monsterous goodness. Someone he knows has one and it towed a 25 foot caravan up truro hill at 110km/h without needing to downshift.

He goes "I'm getting old, I need statistically unsafe levels of torque."

157k for 400km range.

You could drive to Nhill, charge it up for 9 hrs the be in Melbourne by tomorrow night. Awesome

lot of money for a room in Nhill. good fish+chip shop there though, would visit again :thumbsu:

"In March 2007 a Phase 3 (there were 300 built) was sold for $683,500 and a few months later in June, a Phase 3 sold for $750,000. What's a Phase 4 worth .. a million or two, or thereabouts? In September 2007 there was an unconfirmed rumour, doing the rounds in Sydney, that the owner of one of those three remaining Phase 4s rejected an offer of $2.5m. If you had one, would you sell it?"

One is in the Bathurst museum so that won't ever be sold, which leaves one private owner. Surely it would be up there as one of the rarest cars left in existence?

Was there really only 300 Phase 3 GTHOs? That makes it more sought after than a Cobra!

If you've that much money to spend on a car you don't drive to Melbourne unless you want to take your time and see the scenery.

Funny story, a few years ago i was at a local petrol station, there was an XY GT in one of the carwash bays and the most sorry excuse of a Pontiac Firebird filling up and guess what car the kids were hanging around?

The ponitac was scratched to all hell, the interior was half missing and the seats were ripped.
