Never seen it, sounds like an updated "Upstairs Downstairs", which aint for me

Hmm, ok. The closest I've come to this sort of thing previously is `The Duchess of Duke Street', which was great, but I don't trust a show made now to be very good, though I can't give good reasons why.

Oh also The Barchester Chronicles and the BBC's Pride and Prejudice when it was on, but maybe they are less soap opera?

I love how Springsteen gets universal love on this board, but Bryan Adams is seen as a "really?" type selection. It's amazing how much people let reputation dictate their musical taste. Hey man, your loss.
