Texts are the only thing I have that make a sound alerty thing, because it probably means something important is happening.

cbf putting my phone in silent mode every night given this is the first text i've received while asleep, but omg, pick your times pls.

oh ok, calls make a noise too, but phone numbers are for texting as a rule.

I think we have basically established that I don't get important texts.

Calls? Who the hell answers calls?
I know, right? Rude pricks thinking they can call me at their convenience instead of mine, piss off.

Random spotting: Kevin Rudd just shown at the Philadelphia Eagles V Buffalo Bills NFL game.

I just impulse bought a Jarvis Landry Dolphins jersey, one of the throwbacks they are going to wear on Monday Night Football.

They've never looked so good.

$145 shipped was pretty great as well, even after the unfavourable exchange rate

Our dollar is disgusting

More experienced minds than me:

On the news, the presenter asked an expert if it was a good or bad time to invest in real estate, in my views its never a bad time to invest in Australian real estate, its a ridiculous market. Is that accurate?

Depends on where in this great brown land you want to invest. Adelaide you rarely lose but unless you are buying in 1968 and staying in that house until you retire you aren't going to gain much either.

People keep saying Sydneys bubble has burst but I'm not seeing it where we live (Balmain) in fact a 2 bedroom weatherboard knock down in Neilsen st Rozelle went for $1.006mil a few weeks back and a mate bought a 4 bed 3 Bath 1 park place for $3.5mil a fortnight ago. We were looking at a holiday home in June last year and changed our minds and ended up buying a 1 bed 1 bath 1 Car park unit off the plan in Rozelle for $660k and it settled last week. The first offer we received was $800k.

You can't go wrong anywhere while aussies still have the "owning your own home" dream. Supply and demand really.

Crazy money. Obviously if you have it there isn't much better things to spend it on than a quality home, but give me my 2 and 2 halves bed, 2 bathroom, 2 sheds, and parking only limited by your Tetris ability for 220k in the country anytime.

However it probably isn't a solid investment right now.

When Mad Max had announced to film here, many property owners refurbished their houses and other people starting buying, with the intention to rent out to the film crew for 3 years, and make a quick return. When they pulled the plug there was something of a mini recession locally.

Is it just me or does the Adelaide 10 News sports presenter look like DiNozzo from NCIS?

The relief newsreader on Sunrise last week was stunning*

*not sure if appropriate way to describe a woman these days but I'm sure the people that know will be here to let me know very soon.

American football is the blurst.

I hear where you're coming from. However, I do enjoy watching it without ever actually going out of my way to watch it. And it definitely enjoys a popularity here that it probably wouldn't if it wasn't a national pastime of the world's only superpower.
