NUFC, YES.
Star Wars was the boobs right up until some of the creative geniuses fell out with Lucas over his plans to make Return of the Jedi one long commercial for teddybear-themed merchandise.

In terms of the greatness of 1 & 2 with 3 being the pedo uncle no-one speaks of I'm not sure which was worse, ROTJ or Godfather III (Sophia Coppolla being single-handedly worse than every Ewok and Jar-Jar combined).

As a kid in the highly materialistic Hasbro 80's I really enjoyed ROTJ, it was the feel good part of the story. As an adult though, I agree. The only highlight now is Han copping an accidental handful of Leia's boobies.

EDIT: shoulda quoted tribey's post. Didn't.

How anyone can say that star wars was let down by the 3rd film then say batman was the superior trilogy is baffling.

For all its faults, ROTJ >>>>>>> Dark Knight Rises. TDKR was so stupid in so many ways, and was a massive letdown after the first two.

The greatest irony is the complete lack of ironic situations in that song.
Exactly. She's contributed to untold youngsters (and not so youngsters from this thread it appears ;) ) having no idea that irony doesn't mean bad luck. It's the debate - is she either thick as a plank, or very smart for making a song about irony that's ironic because there's nothing ironic in the song? I know which one I lean toward.

Thats exactly right.

Ford Fairlane and RussellEbertHandball does not equal universal love but they do have enough love for the boss for the universe.

I really like the song Rosalita but apart from that... meh.
....
Ah the wall of sound song that goes for 9 to 10 minutes and is just a whole lot of fun. He has plenty of those, well the 8-10 minute songs, some fun, some gritty, but they just don't get air play. Good to see the Midnight Oil boys (Rob Hirst and Jim Moginie), who after 20 years of rejecting Rage to be guest programmers, finally relented and had this version as one of their favourite songs last night / this morning whilst following Port via Twitter and sports on Fox sports. The big man in his 3 piece red suit blowing up a storm and the ladies liking it as well.

And 31 years later, the crowd has gone from 10k to 60k, the security is better, the big man is a bit bigger but with dreadlocks and leather not a 3 piece suite, the wall of sound is larger as its gone from a 7 piece band to a 12 piece band and the tempo is slightly slower, but it is song no. 21 at the end, before a further 5 song encore. Not bad for a bunch of 60 year olds.

Are there other teams?

Still, at least those lyrics are better than "Life" by Des'ree;

"I don't want to see a ghost
It's the thing I fear the most
Rather eat a piece of toast
And watch the evening news"

Life!
Oh life...
Oh liiiiiiife...
Oh life...
Do-do-do-do.

And the debate goes that the likes of Cobain and Lennon were overrated...

She got the shits with Helen Razor of triple J fame after Helen rightly pointed out that there was no irony in her song and even sent her a definition of irony through the post just in case there was a follow up song.

Alanis Morrisette was just plain shit as a songwriter and performer and thats why no one knows where she is now.

She did make a good God in Dogma though.
