They were both young and good looking Hollywood actors, why in the heck not?

...and I have no doubt in 9 months time we will be graced with ******* 9 million babies named Rey and Finn.

Lol, my eight month-old nephew/(un)godson is named Finn.

His mum had no idea that was the name of a main character in TFA... until I pointed it out. He was named Finn because it's one of the few names that works in Sweden and Australia. History has since been rewritten.

He's now named after a goddamn Stormtrooper.

Anyway, I've bought him just about every Finn toy on the shelf. Hope his Mum has a daughter next. And calls her...

Lego is overrated these days.

Back in the day when Lego first got the Star Wars rights, I had the entire fleet from Return of the Jedi.

Except the Falcon, **** the falcon.

I've read a theory that this was done deliberately and that the names are binary opposites. One ends in Y, the other N, as in Yes and No. So it may be an answer to a question that hasn't been asked yet...

Honestly, Lego has exploded in price so much, it is ridiculous. When I have children I'll be breaking down all my Lego and passing it on to them.

I was looking around the shops thinking "no wonder my parents were flat broke, they always managed to find money to buy me lego growing up on centrelink!", then I seen how the last 10 years it has increased in value more than gold, or the aussie dollar.

Shoulda just brought everything in the 90s and kept it MIB.

Received a new car delivered on Christmas Eve from Gympie (2 hours from Brisbane) as that is where I got the best deal.

Young car salesman has driven down in it, running very late due to traffic,storms etc. sorted out the paperwork and handed him the keys to our trade in, which he was taking to a suburb 15 mins away for Christmas Eve dinner before heading to Gympie the next morning.

Brief chat between wifey and I about tolls on the old car for the return trip and the likely 5-6 buck cost, but thought all good.

Sunday night get a call from the local cop station advising our car is close to 50m up a bike path after going through the vehicle bollards, heavily damaged, likely write off and indications are that it went between the bollards with no brakes on doing close to 100kmh.

Car is a wreck and about foot and a half skinnier than it used to be. Salesperson has been avoiding cops and his employer, sending cryptic text messages and FB updates, but not being helpful.
