Die Hard works if you pretend Die Hard 2 wasn't part of the trilogy

DH2 was redonkulous.

Domestic terrorists literally make a packed foreign airliner fly into the ground killing all onboard - AT CHRISMASSTIEM - and are known to be based in the immediate grounds and we're supposed to believe the Chiefs of Staff wouldn't have sent every available air asset into the area to find and kill them ASAP?

No a bunch of fire engines, half a SWAT team and Sipowicz will do.

At least until the crooked company - repeat, company - of Marines led by Cleo 'dey got de Golden Arches, we got de Golden Arcs!' McDowell gets there.

Is he though?

Dime a dozen action stars are just that.

Watch old episodes of Moonlighting it's the same shit different background.

I did like him in Pulp Fiction but he wasn't really stretching himself was he?

Not saying he is a great actor, but he does what is required of him. I really like him personally.

Yes he can only play Bruce Willis, but I like watching Bruce Willis. *shrug*

More POWER to you man and whatever floats your boat and all that.

I like Daniel Day Lewis.

He can act.

Well yeah, but Daniel Day Lewis is an absolute freak. It's not really a fair comparison lol. I'd compare Willis to someone like Charles Bronson, paid to look tough more than anything.

Danny Day Lewis is in league with Johnny Depp, and Geoffry Rush - and others that don't spring to mind.

While on the other end of the spectrum we have Nicholas Cage.

Willis is somewhere in between :p

DDL in There Will Be Blood. Could watch that like, 5 times on end.

I'd say more but I'd be 83 by halfway through the third screening so I'm already being realistigenerous.

That movie was pretty boring apart from him, but my god he was good.

Just because.

**** me, never noticed that link.

Let's assume for a moment that Creationism is true.
If all of us are created in his image, then he's probably ****ed up enough to think dogs disliking thunder is funny shit.

I'd also like to add that if Creationism is true, **** you God! I can do that because if its true, I'm going to hell anyway.

If we were created in his image, he seems pretty shitty with the tracing paper.
Now I wonder if this was divinely inspired.

The bride has just told me that her mob are one of the major sponsors of the Sydney Festival and to make my events wish list:

2001 - A Space Odyssey at the Opera House with the Sydney Symphony and Sydney Philharmonia Choir.
The Waterboys
David Byrne & St. Vincent
Norman Blake & Joe Pernice
Rian
The Rape of Lucrece
Symphony in the Domain - The Sound of Kubrick
School Dance
Symphony.

Might be some great stuff there.

I like Matt Damon and dislike tomato sauce. I enjoyed the Bourne movies and like my pies without sauce.

Can't believe Diehard hasn't been mentioned - unless I missed it...

I thought Matt Damon was as talented as Bruce Willis until the Bourne movies.

Pies and sauce go together like peas and carrots Jeh-knee.

I'm not sure how serious you are about going along. Just to say that from my perspective Mrs Powerstuff has a tendency to 'encourage' me to a wider range of things than I would go to otherwise. Significantly wider. The hit/miss ratio is probably 50/50 and the misses are often of 'Kill me now!' standard (e.g. a never-ending 'Carmen' at some school in the western suburbs), while the hits are mostly just OK. However I am grateful she does it because I do see some thing I love that I otherwise never would have. 2006 Commonwealth Games tops it, I sneered at the idea but she and her siblings pulled all the families in and we had a great time.

When the power goes out, thats when the theme starts playing in the background.
