That said, I wouldn't want to live in Sydney, NT or ACT.

so....in Hindley streetI think Adelaide have fireworks on the Torrens, but can't be sure as I don't actually live there myself. I'm out in Priscilla, Queen of the Road Warriors territory.

As for the comment about prados
Hehe, I've a mate with a Prado and he always arcs up when I stir him about it too. Sounds like you've got a good one.
A bit of 4wding is good fun. Best time I've had in mine was out on Fraser Island. Really opened my eyes as to where they can go. Didn't think I'd make it up a couple of climbs. Was pretty amazing.
What about the Gold CoastThat said, I wouldn't want to live in Sydney, NT or ACT.
What about the Gold Coast
Just don't be there around Schoolies time in late November/early December
I'm considering the Commonwealth Games which will be in 2018 so wouldn't be a long term thing. Must be fun to live for a while where people usually go for their vacations. I'm a big city man generally speaking so I can't help thinking I'd enjoy Sydney thoughThe gold coast is alright, but it's more of a tourist area and less of a "I want to live here long term" place.
Or at any other time.
Been just about everywhere else in QLD but there. Plastic QLD
As a Melbourne resident I'm inclined to put this generic statement here whenever anyone talks up SydneyI'm considering the Commonwealth Games which will be in 2018 so wouldn't be a long term thing. Our British friends are staying classy...

Tell me about the bit of Queensland that doesn't have Queensland's climate and people, and I'll go there.
I did not realise before that Melbourne's population is nearly as big as Sydney's: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cities_in_Australia_by_population though both are smaller than Rio'sAs a Melbourne resident I'm inclined to put this generic statement here whenever anyone talks up Sydney
