lol Hame. A richness of embarrassment

If this bloke was born into an everyday family from somewhere like Pooraka or Morphett Vale he'd be assistant manager at a Billy Baxter's.

As prime an example of a talentless, gormless chump who has coasted on his family name and associated privilege as there is in this country.

I feel like I have a pretty good understanding of depression, but I struggle to imagine a version where you think its ok to kill someone you love.
A few barely connected points:
I know it's semantics but those who do it to those they love don't think it's OK. As far as I've ever heard it's always* a mercy killing mindset.
Sometimes a psychotic view of a genuinely evil world where their loved ones' souls are at risk. Sometimes a severely depressed world-view more recognisable to us and although not psychotic very distorted towards all the negatives in the world, lacking hope, finding no joy in things, so that their loved ones are better off dead than to have to suffer it.
In general we all seem to have this capacity, to kill someone we love to prevent their further suffering. The soldier on the battlefield who bumps off his severely wounded mate. 84 year old Fred bumping off his 82 year old wife because he can't bear her suffering from this, that, and the other age-related stuff.
So often a religious component helps the perpetrator step off the metaphorical edge as they rationalise the killing as being like rebooting an errant computer, everything is horrible now but we'll wake up in Heaven.

* obviously not referring to the multiple whackers who bump off their kids/partners for revenge, financial reward etc

It's so weird, I barely knew them - but as it's part of my community I feel it so much and tonight it has hit me so much...
Very sorry for you. We need some sort of psychic armour to get through life but some stuff does cut through and it can be difficult to work out how/why. The trouble with dealing with that case is the pathos, everything we hear to date says that should have been a happy family.

Is it just me or does the Central Coast Mariner jumper logo look like a marijuana leaf? I guess it's meant to be a palm tree.

Still Central Coast Stoners has a ring.

Hate jet skis
Worst things on the river

Jet Skis are irritating regardless of the locale, always used by total derpmerchants which makes it worse.

It does a bit if you look at it sideways

Remember when Hame was interviewing Tomic I think it was at the tennis, and he wrapped it up by saying "why don't you take your kit off and show us your rig?"

He did.

EDIT: Found the video

It's even worse watching it. I mean, you have to be a real nincompoop to make Tomic look humble and reserved!
