maybe so, non smoker all my life....4x stricken with lung cancer and 1x Leiomyosarcoma and after this mornings worrying CT scan could get worse, some people just have shit luck

There is often no rhyme or reason with cancer. I've had a bout with it and been incredibly lucky to come through it much easier than many. You must be a real fighter to have survived what you have already gone through, so hope you can continue to fight the good fight. Best of luck mate.

thanks for the support, I've been lucky that parts have been cut out each time, my body is now like a patchwork quilt, I battle on, witnessed many worse off and others who it ends up beating, I don't know how I will end up, you can only keep removing sections until you eventually run out of options, I won't lie it's scary, the uncertainty is as bad as the disease, but like Port's and our 2 suspended players kick in the guts decision today I will pull up my socks and soldier on

I don't take much interest in ODIs these days, but how is a first innings 309 and a second innings on track to beat it not a "decent game"?

In my direct bloodline, within 4 generations there have been 7 bouts of cancer, claiming two, my nan, and my older brother that passed before I was born, and probably contributed to great grandparents who were battling it when they passed of old age/natural causes. It is phenomenal and not in the good kind. You just keep on keeping on. It's the only way.

Last year my partner was diagnosed with pre-cancerous cells. Got them seen to but still was scary.

Their bowling attack is completely impotent and we've put on a record partnership. It doesn't even feel like a contest.

*Problem is though if we suddenly had pitches with a bit of life in them we have a generation of batsmen that have nothing but experience on roads.. dem averages might go back down to 90s levels pretty quick

Try putting 7 digits in starting with 4, this works for me for some reason.
