Last I heard he went to jail for benefits fraud. Great voice on those first two albums though. I have been listening to them a lot lately and I've wondered what Maiden would have become if DiAnno hadn't been so self-destructive and stayed on. Probably still big but not as big.



This is a great album though it's the guitar work as well that makes it kick ass.

i went to see him a couple of years ago at a local pub here in hobart. he was being a faux tough guy on stage, his voice was rubbish and he didnt want to mingle with the public so pissed in a bucket in the band room instead of using the pubs toilet.

I already mentioned the first two albums were my favourites despite Bruce being the technically better singer so agree completely, great album. The thing I like most about these two is I never skip a song. They flow so well and thankfully have none of the crap songs found on subsequent albums. I mean I LOVE Powerslave and Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner but want to stab my eardrums when Flash of the Blade or Back in the Village come on.
