Extras is a challenging watch.

`Its funny because he's a campaigner, and thats funny because in real life...he's also a campaigner'.

Extras > The Office

Derek = AIDS

Superb quality though. I actually prefer it to The Office, which can be a struggle to rewatch given how hackneyed the mockumentary format is now.

Very cutting edge for its time, but there's only so many times *knowing look at the camera* holds up over the course of a given episode.

Peep Show is the best thing from the UK
This is the only scene in a Peep Show episode I genuinely enjoyed.

Not generally a fan.

Louis CK (a few varieties)
The Jeselnik Offensive
Amy Schumer
Archer
Reno 911
The League
Always Sunny in Philadelphia
The Simpsons (back in the day, very tired now)
Futurama
My Name Is Earl

And these are just the first rate ones. There's a raft of watchable but 2nd tier ones too.

Wow you like gold and crap equally. Amy schumer is the opposite of funny.

I love My Name is Earl. It should be taught in schools to make the world a better place

Watch out, we have a Scientologist here. ;)

Matt LeBlanc, is he a campaigner in real life? I know nothing about that. I love the show, the soapie-like aspect of it to throw up a new crisis nearly every episode is old as entertainment but the dark humour and the charm of the main actors/actresses has me hooked. But weirdly it's British despite it being 99.5% set in LA.

Chip Chip Chip on thy Shoulder?
Don't get it?

I grew up with that stuff. Love them!
Last of the Summer wine was eating jam sandwiches with my nan on a Sunday night.
Only fools and horses was Saturday evening with mum.
Dads Army was Sunday arvo when I wasn't playing rugby.
Fawlty Towers is still one of the tightest comedies ever written.

Where's the chip? I thought you were the one who dismissed American content.

I must admit I watched the episode where David Bowie hangs shit on him again a couple of days ago.

The first two series were set in London.

How do you enjoy this scene and not they entire show which is literally the same thing played out in different ways

I saw an interview of comedic actors where among other Matt LeBlanc and Andy Samberg were interviewed on stuff.

Matt LeBlanc was telling a story about how he was trying out for a pilot where he has a robot sidekick, and the sample scene was a sad scene. LeBlanc was telling the story like `ugh how demeaning is this industry', where Samberg's response was OH MY GOD IT WAS A SAD SCENE? THATS MY DREAM or words to that effect.

I doubt that LeBlanc is a tool, but he probably has specific ideas about keeping his dignity that can get in the way.

First time I saw that it almost killed me. So unexpected. Perfect.

It's the scene where Gervais' affinity for humiliation was exposed as the deeply sexual peccadillo it really is. Getting it from your lifelong hero. Ohhh, yeah.

I dunno. This one was just the apex.

Are you talking about extras? With Ricky Gervais?
No, Episodes.
I mean I love Extras too (Kate Winslett episode or Patrick Stewart episode my favourites) but that's another conversation.

If he was a 13 year old girl he may have got the full treatment.

Misread ya sorry mate.. Love thy Neighbour is cringeworthy I can't imagine how it was acceptable even back then.

I dismissed american sitcoms but i was talking more the Kings of Queens, Everybody Blows Raymond, Frasier, Friends through to 3rd rock & that geek one whatever it is garbage.
