There's about 3 dozen super hero movies I have no interest in seeing, but none I actually detest, until now.

Suicide Squad looks like poo for the faux nerd masses.

Only super hero movies i've seen at all in the last however many years is the first Avengers and the first Captain America.
Both were shit, and I cringe at anything that has come since. They look so awful.

The batman series is the only one that seems to be at all good, but now it's ben ****ing affleck lel. I should disclose that I have no idea about any of the history or politics or previous escapades of any superheros, so this no doubt contributes to my care factor being zero.

He was the bomb in Phantoms

What even is that?
Quick google search reveals an extremely shitty metascore and an as yet unruined rose mcgowan.

Seen and liked:
Dark Knight (actually loved it)
Spiderman 1 and 2 (Tobey Macguire series, part 2 is also loved it, flawless)
X-Men 1 and 2
The Punisher (all of them)
Iron Man 1 and 2 (mostly due to Robert Downey Jnr)

The following take place before the current craze kicked off
The Punisher (Dolph Lungdren)
Superman 1 and 2 from the Christopher Reeve series
Superman 4, so bad it was good
Batman 1 and 2, Tim Burton/Michael Keaton series.
The Crow (loved it)

The others I either haven't seen or haven't liked, and the only one I'm interested in seeing is Captain America 2.

Suicide Squad, Margot Robbie as some villain character who really only got noticed before of the Batman games series, Jared Leto, dark and gritty trailer... everything about it screams pop culture cash in to appease the faux nerds on facebook that love sharing memes about how nerdy and alternative they are.

I am one of the few people who saw it in a theater for some reason.

Let's just allow you to save face with "I went for the 1998 version of rose mcgowan"

The only one of the super hero style movies I've ever watched was Ant Man recently and it was alright.

Oh wait, I guess Dark Knight counts, that was awesome.

Is it about a man who believes he is an ant? Or an ant that believes he is a man?

It's about a man that gets a suit that makes him into an incredibly powerful ant size man.

So it's a man who isn't an ant, but gets an article of clothing that makes him into a man the size of an ant and the "antman" name is more of a metaphor than alluding to the fact he is actually an ant.

I am not intrigued.

None of these people sharing memes on facebook would have had NFI who Harley Quin was before the Batman games, and before Margot Robbie was cast as her. None.

I didn't even know who she was, and I would like to think, my knowledge of comic books is slightly above average.
