I know capital punishment isn't the flavour of the month in Australia any more, but I wouldn't think too many people would bat an eyelid if it had been applied in this case.

It's a interesting one that subject. Just debating this subject with some mates as there was a 11 year old boy charged with murder over here in Perth over a Australia Day stabbing early hours of the morning after the usual skyshow they have here, he's not the only person charged with murder but what do you do with that one? From memory the ages involved were 2 19 year olds and a 11 year old charged with a stabbing murder how the hell do you deal with that?

That's exactly right. No legal system can appropriately deal with that as far as I can tell, as the way the system is set up with the aim being rehabilitation and what not at that age being put into the system I doubt there is much chance of that plus a few other factors involved with that case looking at it from afar.

There is a bigger issue at play in that one but I'm not bringing that up nor touching that subject at all on a online forum.

I got this one too. I was establishing a relatively free society until I started being invaded during the Cold War. I was so pissed off at the destruction the latest one had done to my beautiful island I stopped playing for a while, but the game is pretty good. I like the soundtrack as well.

I got this one too. I was establishing a relatively free society until I started being invaded during the Cold War. I was so pissed off at the destruction the latest one had done to my beautiful island I stopped playing for a while, but the game is pretty good. I like the soundtrack as well.

You pumped for the Superbowl diegodcg? Personally i dont understand the game, due to the fact ive never had the patience to watch properly. I know its not your neck of the woods, but you're closer than i am. I'll watch and see how it grabs me, but to me it will be like two old men playing chess

NFL have become quite popular in Brazil in the last 10 years or so, but for some reason I've never become a huge fan of it. I'll most definitely watch the Superbowl though, as I occasionally watch regular season games as well, especially when the Cowboys are playing.
It's an interesting game, not infrequently with great drama near the end, and a long accurate pass can be a thing of beauty, but there's something about it that just does not excite me as much as a game of Aussie rules or rugby league. It stops all the time and there's a kind of hyper-specialization in players positions and roles that I'm not a huge fan of. Some rules are annoying as well and I think I'm just not a huge fan of the sport's culture.
But don't let my negativity influence you, it can be a VERY entertaining sport to watch and most of my friends are becoming NFL fanatics - I'm in a very small minority when I say I prefer rugby, for instance

Watching a bit of tennis on fox and i just don't enjoy individual sports. Golf, tennis, a lot of athletics ( although i enjoy the mens 200 and 100 meter sprints at the Olympics )

I love my footy, and cricket is secondary, i'll tolerate league watching with my dad and a four ex bitter. Its all about helping your team mates out in adversity, and sharing the spoils, or being miserable together. You cant do that by yourself.
