Remember the Titans is on 7 mate now. Fantastic movie.

First The Replacements, now this. Awesome soundtrack too.

Bit of an American Football binge on the FTA channels today.

Reminds me, Essendon should have hired these blokes:

How would you be as the journo Channel 10 sent to Fiji to cover the world's biggest ever southern hemisphere cyclone? Are they trying to tell you something? The good news is we're sending you to Fiji. The bad news is you could die. She looked genuinely afraid.

And what was the deal with the mother getting herself filmed with her crying children saying how afraid she was for herself and the kids, while she stood in the middle of the park outside the motel? Get inside you bint and stop scaring your kids for your 15 minutes of fame.

If ever you were to preserve an article to embody British tabloid journalism this just might be the archetype. Billy v Gazza? You're miles off the pace.

Sunderland striker Jermain Defoe scores with lapdancer who dumped Newcastle-supporting husband in Asda car park

How do you top sublime literary art like this:

A lapdancer wheels the rubbish out at the home of soccer star Jermain Defoe – after binning her husband for him.

Bin meaning to tell you: Rachel at Defoe's home

“He was keen to patch things up so they arranged to meet up on neutral territory in the Asda car park on Valentine’s Day to talk things through. He even bought her a rose.
“He was absolutely gutted. Apparently she said she didn’t want to hurt him any more. But he’s a Newcastle fan so that made things even worse.
“He can’t believe this has been going on. He ended up taking the rose back from her and giving it to one of his friends instead.”

According to the friend, Tony has no idea how Rachel met Defoe, but he can imagine that it may have been through her work.

Really the whole article is quotable, especially the photo captions.

hopefully they make it out here.

Mickey started that salute. Watch the Live in Chicago dvd and he pulls it out all the time. When I saw them a few years ago it was nice to give him the "finger salute" back.

It was nice.

That wasn't even one of those oops I made a generalisation in the middle of another point things.

It was a clear line of thinking and reasoning for a cheap laugh. Dozy campaigner.
