Arsenal will almost certainly stay in the top 4 regardless.
Will they? United were locks for top 4 for decades and the moment Fergie left they collapsed. Even with hundreds of millions and a weak top end of the league, they look like losing out again under Van G.

Back to back FA Cups is great for Arsenal though. Without that, I'd completely agree with you re Wenger.

Again, someone tag Tribey, when they had a difference of opinions PB offered to inbox Tribey his number to have a civilised discussion and find some reasonable discourse to their issues.

tribey must be psyched to be Piston Broke's PA

Not winning the title would be an absolute disaster. Given what has happened to the other teams who were contenders at the start of the season.

Just because he's been there forever doesn't mean he should continue to be.
I THINK Dylan8 is commenting more on the fact that the money for the champions league is a greater priority than winning the league.

If some clubs had to choose, they'd choose champions league qualification, which is tragic.

It is tragic. A league title is still the pinnacle, especially for a club like Arsenal.

look nah it's important that winning the league is priority rather than top 4 but Wenger out is such a grass is greener view that assumes they'll be any better off with someone else just cause. Arguably there's no better alternative around.

You were so close to being correct on something as well.

It took me a long time before I realised that Arsene Wenger wasn't a joke name :$
I enjoy the Arsene / Arsenal synergy and until recently Mancini / Man City. Imo it should be mandatory for clubs to have foreign managers with names oddly like the club's.

So who would be the manager of Borussia Monchengladbach then?

Although one goes in hand with the other. Win league/Champs League/Profit.

Arsenal have been breaking my heart for far too long. Its like a vicious cycle and every year it seems to be the same thing over and over. I actually still cannot fathom that we will not win the league this year and either Leicester or Spurs will. That is literally the most frightening thing I have had to consider in my life. I would cop city or Chelsea winning the league, or maybe even Liverpool, but flipping Spurs.... my god no + you just know it will probably happen.... Wenger has to go, but the board don't have the balls to sack him and he wont leave.... I do take comfort in the thought now that it I am used to it and basically expect it to happen....

I sat on my couch this morning and watched a bunch of hacks in Man United out play us... it was a sobering moment.

Port's next coach should be named Albert Porter. The club could play "I Get a Kick out of You" when he walks onto the ground to address the players at 1/4 time.

At least an ex United player scored for you. :p

One of my all time favourite Dad jokes:
3 Englishmen are stranded in the desert, without food and starving, when they come to an oasis with water and a recently deceased cow. They want to work out how to divide up the cow between them when one says, I tell you what, I go for Manchester United, so I will have the chest. The next one says, I go for Liverpool, so I will have the Liver..the last one says, I go for Arsenal, but I am not hungry.

Thank you!! I am here all night people!

Exactly. The first thing you need to do to be a big club and win titles is actually put yourself in the position to contend for them. Finishing in the top handful every year and thus qualifying for UCL riches every year actually puts you in the position to win trophies. That's the manager's main job. If the players bottle it on the pitch at crunch time then that is on them.
