Is MMA the only place in society where violence is seen as entertainment? You've never seen a Tarentino movie, never played a video game? There are a lot of places where violence is far more glorified than in the UFC, and none of those things have any influence over street violence.

I do remember once after playing a session GTA I jumped in my car and had the greatest urge to drive on the wrong side of the road

I feel that, I couldn't be bothered with this argument either. I'm just trying to point out that if the violence in MMA worries him then there are hundreds of other things worth protesting in society before that, that's all. He like all of us is entitled to his opinion.

I can't comment too much on the place but a lot of those remote communities do it tough and footy is more than what it is to most of us on big footy. It's all they have and a glimmer of maybe getting out.
