I just got busted for no seatbelt on the weekend moving my car 30m from a loading zone to a free park. I was going under 25km but the cop said there was no law about that and gave me a fine for $375.
So I looked it up and found there is a exemption for going under 25kmh in AUSTRALIAN ROAD RULES - REG 267
linked from a SA gov site. So im going to dispute it. dont know if i will win or not. here is the reg

(a) the person is engaged in the door-to-door delivery or collection of goods, or in the collection of waste or garbage, and is required to get in or out of the vehicle, or on or off the vehicle, at frequent intervals; and
(b) the vehicle is not travelling over 25 kilometres per hour.

Keep in mind that it's an 'and', not an 'or'. You need to satisfy a) and b) for the exemption to apply. Doesn't sound like you satisy a) to me, sorry.

BTW, went to Norwood High when it was in Beulah Park with Bob Oatey, Don Woodcock and played with Brian Woodcock (made the rest of us look like plonkers even in in the U14s), Kurt Panzac and Alex Stariztski who played for Norwood. Also worked with Jimmy Liebelt when he was a cop.

The last few days i've been watching youtube documentaries on Los Angeles street gangs and going on virtual tours of the areas via Google Earth and Street View. Currently strolling down 'The Avenues'/'Mexican Mafia' stronghold of Drew Street, Highland Park. Fascinating.
