I liked cricket alot when I was younger but there is no emotional attachment, no tribal roar within, no live & breath element whatsoever.. there is no Australian rep team in any sport I have any fervour for tbh.

That's just weird, was moving boxes into my new house today and was putting stuff into the shed and come across a hatch on the shed floor, thought it was just a standard pit for working on cars but it was a fully fledged room, would have to have been about 10 feet deep and professionally done.

Speaking of me making country simpleton judgments about big city living, today whilst going for my run I passed a giant kangaroo, I nodded and said g'day. He was then chased away by a small dog that some other lady was walking off the leash. They're quite timid, kangaroos. I wouldn't wanna back one in to a corner but they definitely prefer to avoid fighting other species.

I agree. I like to see Australia do well but the fact is supporting anything just cause it happens to be born/living on the same continent as myself is silly. There is way too many campaigners sharing this land for me to buy in to it.

Port Adelaide might be a suburban club but it has morales and ethos that set it apart in a meaningful way like international sports don't, save for the USA Dream Teams, Brazilian Soccer, stuff like that.
