Ugh - that wallpaper with that stair carpet - what were they thinking!

I still like reading an actual book occasionally

Real books are the only kind to read. I can't understand why some people would prefer to read such a large text on a screen.

I much prefer the hardcopy PAFC year books to such a disposable and forgettable PDF.

I use all of these regularly.

There is no ****ing way you use a phone book in the year of our lord jesus christ twenty sixteen.

Non-digital maps are also incredibly unlikely but a phone book? #carn

It just don't sink in for me.
If I have a large bunch a text, I have to print it out to make sense to me.

Nothing like sitting down with a big **** off novel as well

Strange I jumped into a book by an Australian author.
Really enjoyed it, only to find its actually the 4th entry in the series.
Now to go back and complete the other eight.

Your maths is flawed

Yeah I thought I phrased it weirdly
What I meant was it is the 4th entry in the series of 8 books.
Oh I knew what you meant.
Just wanted to be facetious really. ;)

It is the point of this thread, no?

I would tank his business by installing a kiosk out front with Google maps.
Offering $1 print outs of any journey they would like.
And for utter and absolute karma roof the kiosk with a tarp.

Good as a makeshift step for accessing those hard-to-reach places (not in view of the WHS officer though).

Tarps are awesome because if they are under you the water doesn't come up and if they are above you the water doesn't come down and you are dry either way.

So you know.

Yay tarps.

That's what I would say.

I read a lot and have Kobo on phone and tablet. I was given a hard copy novel for my last birthday and when sitting up in bed reading it I was thinking "this book is so $%&* heavy". Having books on my phone is incredibly convenient. Waiting in the doctor's I used to be checking my watch ever two minutes now I can be so engrossed in what I am reading I get annoyed when they actually call me.

I enjoy reading and to me the medium is secondary.

I agree about phone books but non-digital maps are essential. There are large areas of Australia and surrounding waters that do not have mobile broadband coverage and navigating using a downloaded map on a phone or tablet is less than optimal.
