Will never forget that moment never experienced that much variation of emotion in a 5 minute period. I thought that was the biggest miracle in EPL history.

Beyond the commercial standpoint of it all "first past the post" makes the most sense of any system around.

Finals are undoubtedly a more exciting way of determining a winner but league results (in a competition with an equitable draw) is undoubtedly the fairest.

Finals only work if you're going to play either a series (NBA) or the game is setup so that an upset is rare (NFL/AFL). For a game like soccer, it's perfectly conceivable for a side to play someone off the park but still manage to lose to a sucker punch goal. Hence why they use regular season to determine the outcome in most leagues.

Not only stripped of existing points but they will only begin accumulating competition points once they make the necessary changes to comply with the 2016 salary cap.

Cos of my hate of Manchester United and all the glory hunting fans of theirs I knew in high school. Easy choice supporting Manchester City then we got rich.
