How did ya'll come to support the EPL teams that you do?
I support QPR, lived in Acton, in West London, for 18 months, one of the regulars at the pub where I worked was a mad Hoops fan and I went to my first game in England with him, which was Charlton v QPR at The Valley on Boxing Day 2008, then they got promoted the Premier League and I've stuck with them since.

Support Hull because my dad's mum's side of the family is from there. Took them to the EPL title and a Champions League semi on FIFA 14 with Andy Carroll as the Golden Boot winning striker. Top quality realism.

All my friends at school were foreign so I got into the game heavily as a result. Picked Newcastle off the back of the black and white stripes. Les Ferdinand what a man tho
Come on man!
What about me??

Can remember following Everton from a very young age. Living near Heathrow at the end of what is now the M3 that made perfect sense ;). Have no idea how it happened. Toffees perhaps, or that fetching blue kit? I think there were some big names at the club at the time - Alan Ball is one that comes to mind.

Alan Ball isn't a big name it's only 8 letters.

Evangelos Giannokopulous is a big name.

Millwall, Millwall, you're all really dreadful and your girlfriends are unfulfilled and alienated.

I just want to reaffirm that all soccer is awful but Black Books is excellent.

Norwich got family in a small village of Coltishall and looks like we're gunna go down this year :(.
Don't have the $'s and when we do spend it often ends up bad.
Gee I was impressed with 'our reds ' goals in the GF. great result :D

As mad as a cut snake and twice as long.

In all seriousness, Ferdinand, Beardsley, Ginola, Kitson and Huckerby on the books with Shearer coming at the end of the season.

Yeah don't overpay for an experienced centrehalf of quality to shore up the notoriously porous defence (Colin Hendry? Ugo Ehiogu? Lucas Radebe?), buy a striker whose skull contains 3 coked-up squirrels fighting over an LSD-marinated walnut.

Seemed like a 'luxury' buy at the time, and still seems mad all these years later.

Tax back and a half for breeders earning up to $400k pa and a kids overboard-themed hoax to come next.

Nauru to collapse into the sea and be labelled Nauru overboard by the rampant Greens who pull that old bloke they used to have as their leader out of retirement because christine milne is a raving lunatic.

Christine to go on Q&A and pot shot the move while internally struggling with the question of whether she is more hurting in the bottom about Nauru overboard or losing the Greens leadership to Skeletor.

My cash is in shares and obviously for mortgage reasons I love a rate cut. I'd be more upset if I was stuck in bonds or term deposits.
I was paying 17.5% interest on my mortgage back in the 1980's and now I have term deposits paying less than 3%. :(

And rate cuts, whilst providing more liquidity for those who already own property (and in theory some economic stimulus), make it yet still harder for those who don't to get a foothold. Still I guess right now it's about where the Government thinks its votes are going to come from.

Where I live is weird. It's solid Labor territory, yet has some of the highest median incomes in the country - "looks like Toorak, votes like Caulfield" I think is the famous quote. Greens hold the balance of power in the Territory Government, so we're getting a tram to nowhere for a billion dollars we haven't got.

What's the political landscape around PA? Last I was there I did notice a fair bit of gentrification about.

Will people earning over that be effected?

Asking for a friend.
