Man City went much further south than that and got back to the premier league in a relatively short time.
Coupla loose dollars here and there jettisoned us to the title after we got back to the top flight which is a kicker Leicester haven't received and so they as a club deserve the utmost respect.

It's kinda like the comparisons to Blackburn. Without context and 20 years of hindsight it seems a miracle, but in relative terms Jack Walker was basically a local Abramovich in terms of the money he poured into that club.
Not really. Inflation in the Premier League is insane compared to other competitions around Europe. When a team can sign one player for effectively the same cost as the entire Leicester squad you have to think either someone overpaying or the player is the greatest footballer of all time. Pick one.

Im just saying all the players are still multi-millionaries, its not like they just showed up on the weekend and kicked a ball around for a couple of hours for a laugh.
Leicester City found a fantastic squad of players and an excellent coach for way below "market price".

and the chances of finding a squad capable of doing so is unprecedented. Their two main goal scorers weren't elite by any measure. Vardy was playing semi professional football 6 years ago and had 5 top flight goals before this season. Mahrez was in the French second division a couple of years ago. These are a far cry from already proven elite or wonderkid players that nearly every other league winner buys. Like I said, comparative amateurs.

Huh? Your original point was that you were annoyed at people essentially saying they were amateur players and I'm saying that they were, relatively, as evidenced by their two best players let alone the rest. A fluke? Not possible, it's first past the post. But the likelihood of winning with this squad was minimal (understatement). You're underselling it, you shouldn't. Leicester 2014 to Leicester 2016 is like Sam Gray in the first and second halves of 2015.
