Brainy Smurf was a campaigner.

Absolutely the worst.

Rated Handy and Jokey, tho.

Greedy must've had crazy metabolism.

Coz he really should've been a fat campaigner...

Im not?

Im just saying all the players are still multi-millionaries, its not like they just showed up on the weekend and kicked a ball around for a couple of hours for a laugh.

Leicester City found a fantastic squad of players and an excellent coach for way below "market price".
and the chances of finding a squad capable of doing so is unprecedented. Their two main goal scorers weren't elite by any measure. Vardy was playing semi professional football 6 years ago and had 5 top flight goals before this season. Mahrez was in the French second division a couple of years ago. These are a far cry from already proven elite or wonderkid players that nearly every other league winner buys. Like I said, comparative amateurs.

So you think it was a fluke then? Pure luck that they managed to have a squad of players capable of winning the league?

Huh? Your original point was that you were annoyed at people essentially saying they were amateur players and I'm saying that they were, relatively, as evidenced by their two best players let alone the rest. A fluke? Not possible, it's first past the post. But the likelihood of winning with this squad was minimal (understatement). You're underselling it, you shouldn't. Leicester 2014 to Leicester 2016 is like Sam Gray in the first and second halves of 2015.

Howard Hughes had the film Ice Station Zebra run on a continuous loop in his house he apparently watched it 150 times.

Released 2007. Can't believe it's been nearly 10 years.
I was only playing it a couple of months ago

Still stands up today, especially since the COD engine isn't exactly virtual reality even 10 years later

Last time I played it was about a year or two ago - definitely still stands up. Crazy to think that even Black Ops 1 was released 6 years ago.

It's bonkers. There have been one season wonders before - Michael Ricketts the posterboy - but maaaan. Vardy's recent goal against Germany. Extraordinary talent to go under the 'dar for so long.

Not a year ago Leicester recently avoided relegation and Jamie Vardy was a racist

Claudio Ranieri was unemployed after being fired by Greece and Mark Schwarzer was watching his teammates win the title

Clumsy Smurf was such a good dude.

Speaking of old school kids characters

Oscar the Grouch was my favourite as a kid,

When I was universal studios looking to buy some Oscar merch for my son, nothing, absolutely nothing all Elmo big bird some nubs I have never heard of.

I haven't seen a Sesame street episode in like 30 years but have been forced to recently because my son is at that age, so I was looking forward to Oscar telling people to scram but nope they toned him down from a PG rating to a G

So heartbroken.

I used to dominate that game 4 to 1 kd ratio. That's after having a .33 to 1 kd when I first started.

Started playing the latest cod game for the first time in over 8 years at my cousins house, I kept getting wrecked, I have lost my lightening reflexes lol.

10 years wow that makes me feel old.

CoD4 remaster coming out, christ it isn't that old is it?
Typical Activision though:

I'm pretty sure you have to buy one of the "deluxe" editions too.

COD's IW Engine still has code from Quake in it. Impressive that they manage to keep adding/removing things to it to keep it fresh.

Too bad the games themselves aren't that impressive any more. I haven't enjoyed it since COD4.

Theyre managing his depression meds better these days

That was probably the first movie I saw where I had also read the book. Very disappointing to realise how much Hollywood mess with stories. :(
