Nah. Preferential voting is good.

In Canada and the UK with first past the post, it's very bad indeed.

There's a shitload of things wrong with Australia but the political system is very good indeed. It's just that people keep voting for campaigners.

On cats, my wife and I adopted ours from the Animal Welfare League on Cormack Rd, and brought her to Canada with us. It's easy to bring a cat to Canada, just needed anti-rabies shots. It cost a bit though, cost more to bring our cat then it cost to bring me.

But she's still with us, has diabetes these days but still as raucous as a street cat from near Alberton should be!

so...bit embarrassed but here goes... I used to do my grocery shopping with the reusable bags, since my cancer health decline I've used home delivery, anyway they use plastic bags, out of mind/sight I'd put them in the tool/garden shed because of conflicting views on if they are recyclable , so since I can't 'literally' put back inside my rake and brooms and close the door, can these bags be put inside the recycle wheelie bin?
