All factual. At least he doesnt have much to do with his kids as the eldest adult ones have managed to join the workforce and the rest of Australia away from this leech. Feel free to throw him some more cash if you like but demonising people on 80k is ridiculous especially earning that amount in the Eastern states. Unlike new trampoline Duncan these people have rent/mortgages, childcare, utilities, insurances, medicare levy, income taxes to pay out of their own pocket before they can go movies etc. The same people funding Duncan by working hard and long hours are the same ones people are cheering him for wanting to take more, wowsers. Dont br a pothead and a criminal you entire adult life and you will get by much better than Duncan if you want to but he wants a free ride. There is a perception amongst people like Duncan now that benefits are there so that they can live a confortable life not just to fund then enough for the basics, for a country that is so apparently unfair and Duncan is a supposedly one of the true battlers he is doing pretty well. To be even more clear this guy doesnt work but has his own house given to him, subsidised bills, payments for disability, payments to 'study' (Lets be real here this is a well known way around job apps with the dole to keep payments), childcare assistance payments, subsidised public transport and free healthcare. He is struggling by so much to take his children to the movies (luxury a lot of full time workers cant afford) he lashed out and bought a new trampoline for his driveway. Gee Australia is so harsh to him

U2 are the worst thing to happen to rock music. Pretty sure Coldplay wouldn't exist without them.
They spawned that whole airy-chorusey sounding minimalistic thing that relies heavily on effects and a big drum loop rather than having any actual hooks or, ya know, guitar riffs. Rock music without an emphasis on guitar is pretty bloody pointless.

U2 are rock? Christ. It is post punk revival mixed in with some new wave elements that eventually paved the way for the rise in alternative pop experienced in the early 2000s with groups like Arctic Monkeys, The Killers and those other whiney types that people talk about in the Music board. Calling them rock is like, "I don't know much about stuff but I know I don't like it so here are some words".

People can bag Edge as much as they want and a lot of it is fair game, but he's been more influential in his sound than any of the blokes from the G3 festivals. He is one of the people you describe in that statement and those types take guitar playing forward.

Watched the Point Break remake last night. Not the absolute disaster I was expecting but nothing special or memorable, apart from Teresa Palmer.
