I know mate, it's just in times like this I wish I hadn't pissed off to the other side of the world.

Things like this have a way of making you feel isolated. There is nothing you could do to soften the events, they would know you wish to be there but they would also know your home is Australia now. Don't hold it against yourself, just do what you can and it's not worth feeling guilty for not being there right now. It's not your fault. They know you care m8. Things like this can make you feel powerless, and you are. The grieving and healing process starts now, all the best. Just don't beat yourself up for events you can't control.

I wouldn't normally but I am going to be travelling a lot over the next two years. Normally a desktop guy, but just wont be practical.

Agree on both counts.

Make sure you don't get Asus mixed up with Acer.
Acer is ****ing terrible.

I've been using a $300 ASUS laptop for work in the last year and a half. Massive battery and can operate a web browser and MS Word at the same time. All you need, innit?

Video games on a laptop sounds not so good.
