Definitely go 16gb.

If it's primarily just for gaming, an i5 will do you fine.

Get the 970 if you can afford it.

we've had Angus for a while, he's reliable, been a good mate, Ryder is new, he was removed from a bad home, we know we are taking a risk but in the long run we know it will be worth it.
