Interesting article in general for any NBA fans but I found it particularly interesting re: Andrew Bogut and Harrison Barnes' nonchalant views on being traded from a championship-winning team. A huge contrast to the trade system the AFL has in place and particularly the way we handled the potential Lobbe trade last year. I admire the just-another-brick-in-the-wall type mentality American sportsmen have as opposed to the almost sycophantic way in which players here hold teams hostage during the trade period.

It's cultural, IMO. There are 100+ major cities in the USA in all directions of the compass. It starts with college, where they almost all move away. Massive fork in the road moment, whereas our teenagers spend to stay at home with the folks into their 20s. They begin to create a network all over the country and continue to move around in their working lives. We can tend to be glued to our hometown/state, even though major cities an hour or two flight away.

I used to be a no BBQ sauce on pizza guy until I took a punt not unlike grabbing the red pill off Morpheus and ordered the Dominos Hickory BBQ Pulled Beef that comes in the square box one night.

It's now my go-to for late night hunger/cry for help.
