I first started noticing people using this during the late-90's to early-2000's, and the "back in the day" being referred to was the mid-90's.

St. Anger is unlistenable garbage although i did like the footage of them making it.. i mean group songwriting sessions sitting around in a circle with pad n' pens in the studio, hilarious.

For as bad as the production and snare drum are on that album, the DVD that came with the original version of the album showing them in a room jamming the album out mistakes and all shows how good songs like The Unnamed Feeling, All Within my Hands and Purify could have been.

For all the negativity towards St Anger and Death Magnetic, they shit all over Load.

Can still remember very clearly the first time I heard Until it Sleeps. James and I think it was Kirk were on the radio and doing a show for an hour and playing songs and the like to promote the new album. They said "Here's our new song" and Until it Sleeps came on, was thinking to myself WTF is this, has to be a joke surely...
