Jeeze it would be a shame if anybody recording the Axl Rose shows in Europe had something more advanced than a turnip.

Lol there's a Watch Dogs 2?

I thought it was a bit underrated, certainly didn't deserve the amount of backlash it got, but a sequel? Carn Ubisoft. They ran Far Cry and Assassins Creed in to the ground now they're barking up that tree again?

The "WORLD PREMIERE" of Watchdogs 2 just streamed online.
Was just a 10 minute trailer going through the main character and some of the changes.

Watchdogs had some good ideas going, but the boring main character and uninspired gameplay just killed it for me.

Watch Dogs could've been a good game if it wasn't by made Ubisoft. Every* open world game they release is too similar to the previous.

*I haven't played The Division, so I don't know if it also follows the same stale path of Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, and Watch Dogs.

My son bought the Division.

Was totally pissed he missed the ebgames 7 day return window as I don't think he even played it.
From the moment I saw the first trailer of The Division, I ****ing called it would be the blandest online shooter made.
About 5 of my mates bought it and stopped after a few days.

Folk in the country lose their house to flood/bushfire: "Terrible, how sad, look at this Facebook meme."
Folk on the beachfront lose their houses to a freak weather event: "Ha! LOL, sucked in richies."

Straya.
I agree that people affected by freak weather events should be treated the same as any victim of a natural disaster regardless of their personal wealth. However I have difficulty sympathising with a woman who blames the damage to her house by a freak weather event on the local council for not spending millions of dollars to build a seawall to protect her property from a freak weather event that she could not foresee.

Well it appears the council were approached years ago as were the state government about building a seawall. According to 2UE this morning residents offered to part fund it.

Maybe not so unforeseeable then.

Maybe not so unforeseeable then.

One report said it was blocked by the greens as the seawall wouldn't be natural.

That report came from my Labor/Commie mate who blames the Greens for everything though.

I'm trying to find something online about my previous post as 2UE get all their stories from the paper or the webs.

If true it defiantly puts that woman's complaint in a very different light and I will have sympathy for her.

If the Greens had their way we would be living in caves without fire and people producing rock art would be publicly stoned as vandals.

"It would result in sand being removed from the beach"

WTF do these people think was removed from the beach by the storm the other day that was holding up these buildings?

Of course there was no soil or plants removed from the block on which their house was built and their house looks completely natural.

Here is the crux of their objection to a seawall;
"Surfers also complained the sea wall would ruin their perfect waves."

I have a very long story about a month in Amsterdam, a couple of packets of dried mushrooms and an Italian called Nico who couldn't speak English and had a shed load of eurocoke.

Thank **** they didn't have social media back then.

My Amsterdam tale was 18 years old, 48 hours of no sleep and coffee shops and an over excited semi-naked dutch lady chasing me through the red light district.

Them were the days, totes agree with the social media observation ...

Whenever I catch up with blokes I knocked about with in the 80's and 90's this subject comes up.

Universal agreeance that we dodged a massive, a ****ing massive bullet by being born before social media exploded.

No, the crux is that such a structure would undermine the natural beauty element and harm the ecology of the area (you know the reasons people want to live there in the first place).

Even just the fact that every man and his dog wasn't walking around with a phone camera. Dem compromising photos.

I occasionally see a fading kodak moment here and there but the detail is sufficiently blurry to avoid any embarrassment.
