It's more about the GnR reunion, if you watch videos of them performing and can't see the distance between Axl and Slash... Seriously that hatchet ain't buried.

Axl is simply the more vocal campaigner, but both men are equally responsible for the complete implosion of GnR.

Slash also performed with fergie. Rock n Roll credibility permanently lost (if he had any left after he John Butcherd the Beat It solo when he played for Michael Jackson, Eddie Van Halen (also a campaigner (brackets within brackets)) would have laughed his fat Alco are off).

Tl;dr, slash overrated.

If the Young's were serious about "just the music" they'd have disbanded AC/DC long ago to record and tour under a new name. Right now they're AC/DC in name only.

Why does absolutely any topic get turned to AC/DC? anyone posts a music video and it's straight away compared to AC/DC. Now the next level of shit has arrived. Your statement pretty much said you have no respect for people that have gotten success for what they do. Carn mate, that's definite hipster territory. I would know, I'm drinking a caramel mocha.


As for the rest, won't be long til hipsters comes full circle and all of those things are the new calling card. Except U2. I would imagine that's already a calling card.

Yeah look, a disdain and contempt for the corporatization of music and art existed a longtime before the first "hipster" even existed. The entire hardcore/punk counterculture existed with a very deliberate and ingrained effort to shun the corporate music media, major record labels, clubs etc., with grass roots DIY principles reigning supreme. I've personally always had a great disdain for corporate, stadium rock, not to adhere to some "hipster" ideal, but because it was part of my upbringing in that scene.
