We switched our Samsung for a Sony a few years back and haven't regretted it. Great picture and tough screen glass.

The Samsung always seemed to have shitty contrast no matter how much you fiddled with the settings. Anything that had scenes that weren't perfectly lit felt like everyone was in a mine shaft.

A client of mine has just decked out their office suites with Smart LGs and we've spent a few weeks getting all their branded promos synchronised across the network. They are a seriously impressive piece of tech. Rich blacks and bright colours. The Smart TV controls are probably the best I've seen too. Some so called 'smart tvs' feel like you're working with a 90s Teletext system.

I ended up with a 65 inch Sony Bravia despite going there for an LG or a Samsung.

Sales guy was really good one he got it through his melon 3D did not interest us at all.

That OLED LG has a great picture but it's not that much better for the price.

Did all the research on line including appliances on line and ended up at the SupaCentre in Moore Park.

Settled on the last of last years which full price was $5499 and was on special at $4499, we paid $3100 incl delivery at Harvey Norman.

We're happy.

Yea the only two I use is Youtube & Netflix there's bloody heaps of apps most are bloody useless though.
