Cleanout the cobwebs
You're horridThat's horrid
I've had this discussion with a number of American (USA) colleagues over the years and not one of them has been able to tell me what the 2nd Amendment actually says, just that it means that the right to own guns can never be taken away from them..... The original driver behind the 2nd was to enact a right for slave owners in the newly independent States to forcibly put down slave rebellions without interference from a Federal entity. ......
I despise this. Not sure why I hate it so much
I won Elvis night at karaoke twice, once with Hound Dog, and again with Burnin' Love.
Dingle, what do you look like in a jumpsuit?
I need a team for next season's NBA and this Thon Maker (cool name) hype got me thinking about the Bucks
Are they any chance for building a decent team in the next few seasons?
Portmanteau
Thanks. I was looking at either them or Charlotte because Charlotte are clearly the steeziest team of all time. Dat teal, dat purple, dat logo. But the Bucks got them Aussies plus Bogut back in the day. Feels like it should be 'our team'.They are building very nicely. Took a backwards step this year, but in general they have put together and excellent young core with a very specific competitive advantage (length and athleticism, which Maker complements nicely).
Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the more dynamic young stars in the league and will be fun to follow. Khris Middleton is a very solid pro, Jabari Parker is a former #2 pick a year removed from an ACL so should be coming back into his own. Michael Carter-Williams (point guard) and Greg Monroe (centre) are both mostly well liked prospects but have some deficiencies.
In addition to Thon Maker they've added Matthew Dellavedova who is just about the hardest working player in any sport. Fair dinkum Aussie legend.
A prime team to jump on to retain street cred as they aren't quite a bandwagon team.
Nobody actually likes jazz. They just say they do.
