Portugal winning without Ronaldo is impressive but a fittingly dull end to a dull tournament.

Incredibly boring game. Enjoyed Ronaldo getting up to manage from the touchline in extra time though.Portugal winning without Ronaldo is impressive but a fittingly dull end to a dull tournament.
Am I the only one who thought The Force Awakens was just...average?
Agree with the rest though - don't get me started on Ghostbusters.

Disappointed with Griezmann, Pogba and Payet. Portugal winning the whole thing is just ridiculous though. Through the groups on third place, only beat Wales in 90 minutes. Won the final without their best player and through a guy who had never scored in a competitive international.I'm sure his middle name must be "mememe".
The game was more disappointing because both teams have had their moments during the tournament and I was hoping it might be more attacking.
Johnny Mac won in the 80's, thirty years on Lendel gets a liitle bit of revenge.

It was average. If you took out the cameo's from the old characters and had the same plot and actors otherwise and it was called 'Generic space movie' it'd already be forgotten by everyone. Rose coloured glasses galore. Not as vanilla as Resurgence, but if it's Neopolitan Icecream, it's one with most of the chocolate and strawberry already eaten.Am I the only one who thought The Force Awakens was just...average?

The problem with the Ghostbusters reboot is that there are some hilarious actresses/comedians out there and they didn't cast them. Chuck someone like Chelsea Peretti or Ilana Glazer in there and I'd be all over that shit. Melissa McCarthy pls.
Why does Ghostbusters need to be full of comedians? I know 3 of the 4 originals were comedy guys but it never tried to be funny. It just happened.
I guess if you get proper comedians involved then they need to be involved in writing it too.IDK if different actresses could save what looks like not-good writing
Stargate reboot??Based on Independence Day, yes they can. See part one for the affirmative, and part two for horrible actors and actresses falling over bad writing.
Aw **** the StarGate reboot will be a mess.

The Force Awakens is starting to get the Avatar treatment. It comes out, everyone is impressed, word of mouth leads to a good extended run...
...then a bit later, everyone's opinions change, a lot to do with its popularity. With Avatar it made everyone think they were being original by saying "Dances with Pocahontas in Fern Gully!!" without realising the irony that they were being less original than the movie itself.
With The Force Awakens it's the cry of "another death star? It's just a new hope with modern graphics aaaaa".
I love both and don't care if people don't like either, but I can see the similarities in how TFA has followed Avatar's popularity path. It won't go that low though... Avatar only made $90 Million in its opening weekend and made it gigantic off of word of mouth thereafter, yet everyone who doesn't like it seems to have not liked it from the start! Crazy how that works.
Stargate reboot??
