From what I can gather kids are a pretty accurate reflection of their parents.

My first kid (of the ones I'm aware of) was born after I turned 40. As it turns out it was perfect. I would have been a shit parent any earlier.

Of that I am certain.

He's currently in Thailand training for his MMA career while his parents look after his kid.

Thirties is when it hits strongest in my experience.

Little campaigner at my eldests school. I find myself sticking my leg out whenever he runs past so I "accidentally" trip him up. It's worked three times so far. Absolute little campaigner who deserves a flogging everyday. His parents say he struggles with the structure of school. Little ****wit will struggle through life if he doesn't smarten up.

The Dunedin Longitudinal study shows fairly conclusively that lack of self control at the earliest age is a strong predictor for lack of success and/or trouble with relationships/law/substances throughout life. You can rest assured that the kid is ****ed.
