Back to playing Witcher 3.

Just finished the Blood & Wine DLC this morning and thus the Geralt trilogy is done for me. As well done as things were wrapped up can be, you still feel hollow knowing you'll not see Geralt again. Bit like the feeling of finishing Mass Effect 3 (despite the cruddy ending).

One is very long, combat is clunky and load times are extensive but I ****ing loved it. Story much better than the following two.

No idea why declan leuvaarden and siegfreid didn't feature in the following games. Would have liked more of Thaler in the sequels too.

Fair enough. I've preordered a couple games in the past through G2Play, and it's worked out (aside from having to wait an extra 4 hours for Dishonoured), but there is always that feeling they could screw you over, or stuff up the order.

The ending to Mass Effect 3 is pretty much how I feel about Port Adelaide at the moment.

I actually enjoyed the combat system in Witcher 1. The timing your clicks, and the constant switch between sword styles. I can understand why people don't like it though.
The Enhanced Edition fixes a lot the issue it originally had, especially the load times.
I agree with Feel on it being the best story wise (though I'm still working on 3). I might play it again after I finish 3, and DX:MD.

I'm also enjoying this thread evolving in to a vidya gaems thread.

Witcher 1 prior to the enhanced edition had some of the most awkward dialogue to feature in an otherwise awesome game.

You could tell the translations didn't take grammar into account a lot of the time. Reminded me of some of the horrid random dialogue you get from Morrowind and Oblivion NPCs. Just no context for their conversations at all.
