Just got back from a month in a small village in Thailand visiting girlfriends relatives, girlfriend did the cooking using just a charcoal fire and boiling water and laid out a meal every night that surpassed anything I have had at the Thai Orchid or any of the better restaurants around town...I've reached the conclusion that kitchens and kitchen appliances are over rated...

I just exchanged pleasantries, happy new year etc, with a bloke that works for me and he said, and I quote, "maybe 2013 will be better for Port Adelaide" I replied "yeah well things are looking a bit better" he responded with "maybe all the players from all the other teams will get diseases and you will win the premiership?"

God I hope he is right.

My wife doesn't follow football at all. But it could be worse. I know of a couple where the wife is a mad Port supporter and the husband follows the crows. Just goes to show that mixed marriages can work.
