An interesting article on the effect of cumulative concussions in contact sports. There is a major class action underway in the US against the NFL and now a local professor wants to lead research in Aust. Could we end up with even more rule changes to decrease contact? Or perhaps, though unlikely, even helmets? One thing is for certain and that is that where a duty of care exists and liability is a real possibility, organisations will make moves to protect themselves.
