It was either going to be a Newman mailroom reference, or a Newman rickshaw reference.

I have a very similar problem, although there are three streets: Spring Park, Springbank and Springwood. We always get mixed up. It's not that ****ing hard. There's a street the next suburb over that has a name very similar to my streets name. Whenever i get mail or parcels accidently delivered to my house that were supposed to go to the house in the other street with the same number as mine i always drive over there (it's a 3 minute drive) and hand deliver their mail. Always. It's not hard.
But when they get stuff wrongfully delivered that was meant for my house they NEVER drive over and give me my stuff. Not once. Ever. They instead take it to the post office. One time a parcel of mine went all the way back to it's country of origin before lobbing on my doorstep.
From now on these people can **** off. I'm just gonna stuff their mail in the nearest mail box without any stamps and hope it ends up as land fill somewhere. **** 'em.

So what's been happening in Adelaide over the past four months?
That job was hardcore. I only did it because i was "between jobs" and owned a Toyota Hiace. I did it for 6 months and saw two people have nervous breakdowns in that time. I truly learnt the meaning of the term "going postal". The pressure was unbelievable. THE MAIL JUST KEEPS COMING AND COMING!!!!!
I was wondering what was going on as I have seen an Essendon supporter on here called Don Draper...thought you had turned! So what's been happening in Adelaide over the past four months?
I did a similar job as a summer job. Loved it. Would work like a tropper for a couple of hours sprinting around doing the deliveries, then chill for the rest of the day playing playstation at my mates house. Had a great system.

Yeah, I did it from October thru March one year. The early starts were the worst part, but like you said, once you get the whole thing down as second nature it's not too bad. Mondays were nuts with all the weekend backlog to deal with, sometimes up to 350 parcels to deliver. Wine crates, especially in the lead up to Xmas, sucked huge balls. Tuesdays and Wednesdays I'd be finished by 8.30-9.00am.
Much happier with what I'm doing now though![]()

I don't know how the wine crates used to go missing from my van. iT WAS WEIRD![]()

Its Adelaide. Nothing.
We sometimes get the mail from across the road in our letter box. Pretty easy to cross the road and put it in theres without any problem. We got one in our letterbox from them with a big post it note on it saying "your mail was in our letterbox at #xxx, we do not want your mail, please ensure this doesnt happen again".
Felt like going over and saying 'hey silly person, Im not the ******* postie".
This. What sort of w@nker puts a note like that on?? Would deliver a steaming dog turd to letter box with a note saying 'Thought this belonged to you, given you have shit for brains'.Keep the note and stick it on the next letter of theirs that turns up in your letterbox.
That'll learn the ****ers.
