Smartphones I've owned in the past 5 years or so (in order, I think):

iPhone 3G
Samsung Galaxy S
iPhone 4
Samsung Galaxy SII
iPhone 4S
Samsung Galaxy Nexus
HTC One XL
iPhone 5

I've given Android more than a fair shake and I can say with some certainty that it's the inferior product. Has never matched the stability and fluidity of iOS, and as for the handsets themselves, Samsung can't even remotely match Apple in aesthetics and industrial design. HTC got closer, but not close enough.

I change around a lot because I get these things more or less for free. But if you're an iPhone user now don't even think about letting your Android-nerd mate convince you to make a two year commitment to inferiority.

If you stick with Nokia, the Lumia 920 is a brilliant phone. I own one myself.

Else anything in the galaxy range is excellent for Samsung.

The Parents both have the Lumina 820 and have had nothing but trouble with them since they got it. One had to be sent away 3 times before it was just replaced in the end.

Was standard issue in nightclubs back in the day. Coolest phone of its time IMO. Best phone I owned until I jumped on the iPhone wagon.

Seen too many horror stories with Samsung Androids to switch over any time soon. iPhone by far the most reliable product in my experience.

The most returned phone with problems in my experience, probably because so many own them which makes it look more disproportionate. However, I stand by the fact that their quality control is awful, and it's getting worse since they are changing manufacturers. Also their processors are now going to be made by the Chinese rather than Samsung. That said, anything from Huawei and Alcatel is in a league of its own in terms of shitness. Also avoid LG. It's totally all relative though, everyone has different experiences.

I love FIFA 13. But that opinion might be influenced by the fact that FIFA 12 was the worst FIFA game in a decade so FIFA 13 looks better in comparison.

Fifa 98 road the world cup and Pro Evo 3 are the best two soccer games ever made. That and Kick Off 2 on the Amiga.

Pro evo 4 was the best. 5 and 6 were pretty good too though!

Me and my brother used to play the shit out of those games. AC Milan vs Real with fantasy draft players.

Gerrard kicking a goal from outside the box in the 119th minute to tie at 7-7 and take it to penalties was the shit.

Never liked fifa since 98.

Fair enough. I'm only going off a sample size of about 5 Samsungs, 4 of which have completely died in the arse within 12 months. Of the 10+ iPhones my close friends and family have, none have had a single issue other than cracked screen from being dropped.

Like I said, I'm el'cheapo so I currently play FIFA 11. How's the comparison with those 2?

My friends and I have done several fantasy drafts for Pro Evo and then FIFA from FIFA 11

It's such a good way to play the game. There were between 5 and 7 of us and it gave everyone a chance to build a squad that suited them without it being too ridiculously strong.

We had some pretty epic tournaments.
