Because everything I have read about the XBOX 'ONE' I have not liked.

Not to mention it looks like a VHS player. Maybe they're trying to reach out to an older market?

I played Space Invaders at the Blackwood Fish Shop in 1979.

It was a step up from the pinball machine at the Pizza bar down the road but I don't imagine much has changed in video games since then?
Correct. Nothing has changed. Except it is 40 cents to play now instead of 20....Daylight robbery imo.

I'm more of a Galaga and 1942 fan myself, also my mate in the late 90's had a fish shop and he had a snow brothers arcade machine that was still 20 cents a game, the extra cash allowed me to buy more deep fried mars bars

I work for a car rental company and we have both the i30 and Cruze.

The new i30 is pretty nice, very smooth on the road and reasonably comfortable (I'm 6'4").
The Cruze is a bit more comfortable, not as smooth but more powerful, we have noticed an issue with bad fading on the black surround near the side mirrors though.

Ended up buying the i30 Tourer, bigger boot space which is what we needed.

How can you even play this? Ive tried playing it because a friend of mine does but the 3 times ive tried to learn it 3 times I have given up

I started like 8 years ago haha. Played for ages quit for ages, started playing again like last year or so and tried to get pretty good. Nowadays I just play a little bit - though every now and then there is just one of those days where you playing like 5+ hours in a row or some shit - and I watch the competitive scene way more than I should.

Its just the kind of game where you start out and you are shit, everyone tells you that you are shit, and you don't really have that much fun. Once you start getting better though it is extremely rewarding. Though it really is a terrible game for new players, especially because of how horribly abusive people are on the internet haha.

I found it funny that Sony's stocks rose after the One was revealed. I'm sure it's going to be amazing but I think their presentation was flawed because they focused too much on everything else but the game.

Yeah, had a chuckle at that as well. Microsoft seem to have shot themselves in the foot.

The undisclosed fee for playing used games seems real nasty. Microsoft have already released a statement trying to clarify it due to the online backlash.

Oh I can handle the abuse hahaha I just become a full on smart arse online when people start chucking abuse at me :P

Sounds ridiculous. Pretty much says WE WANT MORE MONEY. They cant really hide that.
But I suppose Ozgameshop.com seems to pretty much have used game prices on their new stuff anyway.

Sony did something similar with ps3 where games couldn't actually be played on another console. They got rid of it really fast.

The only games I was ever good at, and I wasn't very good, were 1942 and Pingu or whatever it was called (the one where the penguin pushed around ice blocks) they were also the last two games I played.

There's this amazing 3D tank game called Battlezone. It's more the future than John Butcher.

Doesn't look like much difference between the PS4 specs and the Xbox 1 specs. Considering developers found it easier to code for the 360 I'm loathe to jump ship until some decent ports for the PS4 come out. Unable to purchase used games is a bitch though. If that stays and the PS4 doesn't have it, I'll switch over.

More than two colours confuses me.

I was alright at that game with a bat on each side of the screen and the ball going back and forth.
