This annoys me just about more than anything else on the internet.
I couldn't care less what you're listening to on Spotify.

What the girl did was dumb, and really not much worse than what a lot of other people do, except the impact of it was a lot greater.I just read through the last page of the Eddie McGuire/Adam Goodes thread on the main board. In it, a Collingwood supporter has actually wasted a significant amount of time to prove just how ignorant a human can be. Unfortunately it's locked now, so I can't express my disgust in that thread.
He goes through a lookalike thread, finding pictures of white footballers being compared to monkeys (some of these were simply their expression, such as mouth wide open). He then says "I don't see any mention of racial vilification here!" Really, Einstein? I wonder why that is.
But then he takes the cake. He shows a post of someone likening Adam Goodes to the world's hairiest man, as if it's a sign of hypocrisy. He's basically calling the world's hairiest man a monkey and thinking he's showing how this isn't racism.
Words fail me.

What Eddie Maguire did was dumb as well, very dumb. He certainly didn't mean anything offensive by it, but he was dumb to think it wouldn't cause offense. It happens.
While trying to found it if adam goodes was actually offended by Maguire (I honestly thought he wouldn't care what Eddie Maguire says, ever) I found this blog post... pretty much sums up my feelings about this pretty well

i think in australia specifically between the opinions of yhe topic are so far apart on all sides that a middle ground is almost impossible to find even when they are trying to close the gapThat was actually a pretty decent blog! Surprised me. It's a tough one - it's true there's the feeling of a whole bunch of white journos coming to the defence of the indigenous like they're being saviours, which can then spark off the annoying "THE WORLD IS TOO PC! IT'S GONE MAD!" brigade. But on there other hand, there needs to be at least some outcry when this situation arises - if we just let it go through to the keeper, someone else will spout off racial remarks, and someone else and it'll become a snowball effect.
I just get most annoyed by those who go out of their way to claim it wasn't racist. The ones who think they get to be the judge of how an individual indigenous person is allowed to feel when faced with racism. Just makes me hate people.
Dear Eddie,
size
Handwriting is made up of three zones - or cases - middle, upper and lower. A basic average measure - or benchmark - by which size can be judged is 3mm per zone. This gives a benchmark for a non-remarkable full height of 9mm. More than this is large; less than this is small.
Large size handwriting can mean extravert and outgoing, or it can mean that the writer puts on an act of confidence, although this behaviour might not be exhibited to strangers.
Small size can, logically, mean the opposite. Small size handwriting can also indicate a thinker and an academic, depending upon other features in the script.
If the writing is small and delicate, the writer is unlikely to be a good communicator with anyone other than those on their own particular wavelength. These people do not generally find it easy to break new ground socially.
Small is good for you Eddie![]()
So finbarr, do you see how relatively unimposing the Spotify messages are now?
