Your logic, while correct, doesn't necessarily apply here. 'Mathematics' can be either a singular or plural noun depending on ones own interpretation of the word. Ergo, whether one uses 'math' or 'maths' depends on ones own interpretation on whether 'mathematics' is plural or singular. Alternatively, one may see no correlation between its noun status and contraction and will use the term that they are most comfortable using.

I have to disagree. Based on what I just watched, he's taking the piss out of everyone who would possibly take a 6 o'clock commercial TV news broadcast seriously. Gotta respect that.

Disagree, when I watch the news, any news, I want to be informed, not entertained, clowns with red noses & fart jokes should be consigned to breakfast or midnight TV.

Nope, I avoid most news programs on commercial TV because of this foolish tactic of trying to entertain instead of informing.

The mention of Tim Nunan by Jumbo was the first time I have ever heard of him, watching the clip was embarrassing.

Stations have an obligation to their viewers, Channel 7, with that idiot aboard, is failing badly.
