The inability to properly use a toaster is a widespread problem and leaves toast unevenly toasted.

When you use a microwave, you take out your meal at certain intervals, and stir it or whatever, just to make sure that it's all evenly cooked.

So why don't people do that with their bread in a toaster? I do it - I take it out twice (so it has three different cooking periods, sort of) and it is always perfectly and beautifully golden brown.

Get on my level, civilians.

You definitely could when I lived there, but that was 13 years ago now!

Anyone of you got the Fratellis new album yet?

Yeah man, it's no Costello Music (but what is), but it's growing on me. A few really good tracks. Halloween Blues is probably my favourite track thus far.

It's folksy/country style reminds me of that Josh Pyke/Kevin Mitchell/Kav Temperly supergroup Basement Birds if anyone is familiar with them.

Watching Paul Kelly Stories of me on ABC. Geez I forgot how skinny he was when he first started and he is still a stick now. Those days of no money and taking heroin probably helped. He was skinnier than a Kenyan long distance runner.

Little know fact, his lead guitarist of the Coloured Girls and Messengers was Steve Connolly, the older brother of The Age's football writer who died in mid 1990's.
