Theres two types of people in this world. Those that freely admit to liking Limp Bizkit, and those that claim they hate them but still know every single word to Significant Other & Chocolate Starfish.
And those who don't have a clue what you are talking about.

That's right. Such a polarising band. Wes Borland said in the earlier years with Starfish etc, it used to get to him that so many hated them, but after leaving and coming back he realised **** the haters, it's all about the fans who love us.

He also said "it's not even about releasing albums any more, people just steal them, so we are all about our performances and making new material that is great to use live."

I've even got Ms. Feel going tonight, I reckon she's now more excited than I am. She put a USB into her car a few weeks back with LBs songs on it and she goes "I don't even listen to them, yet I still know the words. However after listening to them on the way to work it made me not want to swear for the rest of the day, which I guess is good."

did lol.

I thought Starfish was pretty poor outside of the main singles, but Significant Other is one ive gone back to numerous times and it still holds up really well.
The setlist for their tour in australia so far has been amazing.

    1. Thieves
      (Ministry cover)
    2. Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle)
    3. Hot Dog
(with snippet of Metallica's "Creeping Death")
    4. Bring It Back
    5. Gold Cobra
    6. I'm Broke
    7. My Generation
    8. Livin' It Up
    9. My Way
    10. Re-Arranged
    11. Killing in the Name
      (Rage Against the Machine cover)
    12. Boiler
    13. Nookie
    14. Faith
      (George Michael cover)
    15. Take a Look Around
    16. Break Stuff
    17. Stayin' Alive
      (Bee Gees song)

So...I had to make a tough decision within 24 hours.

Currently I work at Dick Smith as a duty manager while studying I.T at Uni.

I got accepted into a masters of business information systems, which required an interview and a presentation to a panel. It includes 2 courses a semester + 20 hours of workplace experience which is excellent, and my potential earnings increase a fair bit with this kind of qualification as it includes business and finance courses. It also places you in project management roles as part of the placements.

Regardless, I interviewed and was offered a job at a high profile multi-national grain logistics company for their i.t crew, excellent money, however it's full time. Meaning I would have to do all of my subjects externally for uni while working a 9-5:30 job with no flexibility, and it would wipe out my ability to do the masters degree.

Very hard decision, but I made the call to continue with my Uni and continue working at dick smith thursday-sunday, which allows me to earn money while completing my degrees. Learn more to earn more as they say.

Did I make the right call?

Have a drink and think it over

lol jks

IMO, a flexible job hours beats more money, although it would have freed up your weekends (I'm assuming), but if you are getting by with your finances as if then don't stress too much. There will be more opportunities for the patient. Is it worth chucking in a masters degree? I don't necessarily buy the earn more to learn more but it's better to have the degree then you have it for life

It probably wasn't worth chucking in a masters degree, no.

I am getting by fine right now, much better now that the misses has finished her degree and is earning a graduate wage now. The thing I miss most after 3 years of working at dickies, is having weekends. Funnily enough, my biggest gripe is missing live footy. However I just have to cling onto the rewards at the end of it all. My gut told me from the start that I should continue doing what I'm doing and not to change what is working. (though dickies has its moments).

I'm generally a gut feel type of person.

Yep. Some short term financial pain for potential future gain is a calculated gamble in my opinion. Could be worth trying on a negotiation with the multi-national to see if they can support your studies either financially or with time off as part of the employment package. I have done this before for valued employees.

I thought about this but decided just to mention that if anything came up that was part time or casual to let me know as I would definitely like to have a look. They understood my position and were happy with the way I handled it and got back to them promptly, very important not to burn bridges that's for sure.

I like their music, but hate them.

I feel this way towards a lot of bands though.
