There were some great stories about Thommo back in his Bankstown days before he became a state/Australian fast bowler. Teams declaring at 5 down because the rest had retired hurt, batsmen in hospital, bouncers that went for six byes. Imagine facing up to him and Lennie Pascoe in grade cricket!
