Came with the deal. Gives me an extra game of footy each week + replays the next day and can get Foxtel through it for the footy season. It a good thing.

College Football has some ridiculously easy money to be made given the subjective nature of the relative rankings of teams/conferences and such.

College Football is so much better to watch neutral teams in than NFL. The amount of TNF shockers I've watched this season have made me feel like my brain has deflated somewhat.

TNF football is a faux prime time game, even Monday has turned into it a little with it not being what it was in the 90s. They give teams like the Browns, Jags, Dolphins, Lions etc these games that wouldn't usually get the SNF game which is a blockbuster such as this one

As nonsensical as this will sound given the rivers of gold that flow into the coaches pockets and all the underhanded guff that sees poverty-line ballers' mums suddenly living in palatial splendour, there's an innocence about college football.

Youngsters finding their feet, playing with joy, minimal defence, no-one holding out or primadonna'ing for more cash/status. Just raw potential striving to improve and put itself in the shop window.

It's got a Rugby Sevens feel to it except without being pointless and shit.

David Lynch never wanted Laura Palmer's killer revealed, and had the network not demanded a closed ending he never would have revealed it.
Aside from all the goofy stuff in the second season there was some great stuff there to keep people interested. The Windom Earle stuff, and how it all tied in to the search for the Black Lodge, the bigger role for character's like Major Briggs, the One-Armed Man, Lynch himself as Gordon Cole, were all great parts of season two. But each time I watch it back I do find myself fast forwarding over large chunks unfortunately.

I will get the DVD and relive the experience. It's supposed to include Fire Walk With Me too.

Thought it was such a sharp and funny observation of teen life populated by real monsters. Joss Whedon is the master. But it did sadly jump the shark.

I'm not aware of any box sets of the series that also include FWWM. They have always been owned by different distributors. It's not hard to find on DVD anyway.

I find college football quite tedious unless there is some sort of upset brewing. The difference between the top teams and lower teams is so utterly overwhelming.

Frankly, I find the idea of these colleges making ridiculous amounts of millions on the back of student athletes kind of disgusting. They get a scholarship which may be worth $100,000 over four years but the players should be getting far more than that, considering what they bring in. Considering the amount of work they have to do training, I seriously doubt many of them actually get much of a chance to put those scholarships to any use.

Amateur sport died for a reason. The amount of cash and exploitation from those doing the work finally got seen through. Except in college sports.

I'm amazed how many of you are into american football, in all my work and leisure associates no-one including me has any interest in that game, I'm not sure if that makes us normal or not!

uTorrent+KAT+WD media player is even better. Then backed up with a TBox for footy works fine for me. No free to air at all in my house.

No-one did.
Twin Peaks sort of died on screen but was so abstract you didn't realise. There were a couple of good little piss-takes in the Simpsons which captured the mood of watching that show when it first came out.

I enjoyed Twin Peaks but was left wondering what the hell happened or didn't happen
