In my day the only music video show on tv was a 5 min grab called GTK, wedged between "Bellbird" and the 7 O'clock news on ABC. Captain Matchbox and the Whoopie band. They were the days. John Quinney followed by "My canary has circles under it's eyes". Haven't heard a wash board solo like it since.

Breakers was my favourite show when I was a teen. Did they play that at like 5pm then a replay at 10:30pm? Greatest idea for a soap. No matter what you have on you never miss an episode

The Keith Thomas press conference today, thought it was pretty poor form to have the club background complete with sponsors prominently displayed. Almost like they were making the most of the national exposure as a result of the John McCarthy tragedy. Not a good look imo but that could just be me.

It's an official planned presser...I would say its all part of the sponsorship agreement.
