The logic is that Geelong getting their 2nd highest crowd of the year at a ground which is 1/4 under construction isnt really comparable to Port getting their 2nd lowest crowd in its history.

I actually think it was sold out today. Tim Lane on 3AW was talking about some couple he bumped into who travelled up from Tasmania without tickets thinking they could just walk up and pay only to be turned away at the gate.

No, but if we'd had the run Geelong had had for the past 5 years and were heading into the finals, we'd be rivaling Crows crowds.

Add to that, Richmond and Essendon couldn't draw a 50,000+ (47,590) to the MCG on Friday night.
